Wordplay w/B.Mack (Foundation Magazine)

Guess whose back in the MF house? Okay, it isn’t that dramatic, but WORDPLAY is coming back from hiatus. There is a new format change – 10 questions, instead of 20. We hope to feature more people involved in the scene that aren’t artists, as well as some of those artists that deserve some love. 1. Where is the worst place you have ever been?
The worst place I have ever been is broke. If you ever been there then you know its a bad place to be. At Acme with $7.00 in quarters to my name talking about “What kind of Raman Noodles should we get for the week?”

2. How much water do you drink a day?
Usually 5 bottles a day-ish. I like water.

3. Do you think the price of gas will stay high all summer?
I see it getting progressively worse. I would go into the reasons, but I’m not a teacher. If you like recession and high Gas prices either don’t vote in November or vote Republican.

4. What is something that grosses you out?
People who expect you to do shit for them. Lazy people who suffer from entitlement. No one is going to give you any breaks, money, free promo. Go get it yourself or stop fuckin complaining!

5. Ever had to take someone to court?
Yeah, my lawyer. Still ended up doing 2 years. I had a full lawyer who couldn’t eat the case.

6. Can you say the alphabet backwards without stumbling?
Personally, I thought it was vicious when Papoose went backwards on alphabetical Slaughter.

7. Big Daddy Kane or KRS ONE?
KRS-1. Most rappers paint pictures of themselves being drug dealers, gangsters, pimps, etc. He created the persona of being a teacher, a scholar. Absolutely brilliant.

8. Have you ever won anything off the radio?
I won behind the beat tickets for The Roots, Nas, and Dame Dash.

9. Who would play you in a movie?
Bill Gates. His story is great. He was Sharp, hungry, and a step ahead of everyone in the game.

10. How many times have you moved in your lifetime?
Wow, many. I have lived in every part of the city. North, South, Southwest, Logan, West Philly, Northeast, Roxborough, Norristown so, more then a few.
